What are the typical holidays university students get?

My boyfriend is studying radiography at university next year and i was just wondering what holidays university students usually get? I know in health care it may be different... but if i cant just get rough idea. Or if you know the typical holidays for a radiography student that would be even better. Thanks for your help...

1. bank holidays, easter holidays mid term in February, Christmas, exam study time which is usually 2-3 weeks, and then the odd days when there feck all classes
2. In China they typically get a month and a half for Spring Festival and the same at summer break. Dates vary because a lunar calendar is used. They also normally get 3 days for Labour Day - May 1st and National Holiday - October 1st.
