University Graduates

multiculturalism among Ontario/Canada university graduates help!?

Hi, I'm working on an statistics project about university graduates and their ethnic origin in Ontario or Canada in general. My question is: Does any body know some good internet sources that might help me with my investigation? The argument I'm trying to prove with this research is to find if Canadians with certain ethnic origin (Asian, European, Latin American etc) are more likely to have an university degree. Thanks in advance

  1. may not answer your question but with some statistics! http://www12.statcan.ca/census-recensement/2006/as-sa/97-560/pdf/97-560-XIE2006001.pdf http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/81-004-x/2008005/article/10798-eng.htm
  2. Some interesting sites relevant to your subject are www.canadaimmigrants.com, www.notcanada.net. Good Luck!
  3. I can't help you here with specific URLs. But I can inform you about this: 1. Most first generation children of immigrant families goes to university or college, 2. Most female engineers in Canada are minorities (African, South Asian, etc, etc.) 3. Most minorities work hard to be smart to outcome any issues with racism and stuff like that. For example, if you have a PhD and you face discrimination in the office, one phone call to your boss will get the other guy fired. (my uncle did that :)
