what's the difference between graduate position and Trainee position?

Local telco has advertised for graduate position and Trainee positions seperately. Not sure which one is better as the job details are almost the same.

Prob shld phone them - but usually a grad position is advertising for someone who has already graduated, that is, done the study - and a trainee position is for someone who hasnt graduated yet but is prepared to work hands on so many hours a week and do their studies in the particular field at the same time as on the job and often usually through a tafe or local training org that oversees the traineeship.
