how soon should I start applying for jobs before I graduate?
I will graduate to be a radiologic technologist. I need to graduate to get a job. I have already been looking around the country to see where I should apply to.

- Hi, I'm Johan, want to give u the best answer. I think it's no wrong to apply a job, but why don't u think to get risk-free lucrative business online? The difference is huge between the two of these. U get a job, U work 8/5 day job, then you pay more tax, etc. online business no tax, no working hours - all up to u, very lucrative and if u can find it, it's risk free. it's just a personal advice, that u can get flashcash.ws as a consideration. It contains valuable information about internet business and how to make money with all conditions of internet marketing knowledge.
- Depending on state... If you have not taken your registry yet why bother applying in most cases. (not to sound mean, but you are not a tech yet) so who is going to hire? you can't do the job you would be hired for.(imagine getting hired & then not passing your registry--OUCH!!!), SO: in most cases don't ,until you get the license... make sure to study NOW!!! and take the test as soon as possible. UNLESS!!! Which brings me to the second point... some states do not require ARRT certification. So, some states (Nevada, for instance),may hire a program graduate with stipulation that registry is acquired within a year. this is location by location , person by person basis. It helps to know someone... Google map hospitals in Las Vegas and see who is hiring... the jobs would more than likely be Per Diem but there is your foot in the door
- you should do it as soon as possible
- I think you should apply as soon as possible. The worst that can happen is they don't hire you, in which case you just try again somewhere else. How soon will you be graduating? If you are in your final term or within a few weeks of finishing, sometimes potential employers will make exceptions. This will depend on how strong your resume is. If you can't get the job you desire, I would look for a temporary position or an interning position that is at least somewhat along the lines of what your profession is. A lot of temp and intern jobs will pay you AND give you credit for school. Also, it will look great on your resume! Good luck!
