can you apply for a graduate job if your not in your last year of study?

- depends... do you have one year left to go? My husband had a job 6 months before graduation. He also had classmates that the university employed knowing they had 1 year left to go...You should consult with your advisory committee and be very active and ask them what you need to do to get employers interested. Most likely your committee already have jobs coming to them and they are passing it along to aluminis ... my husband still gets jobs sent to him from his old professors. I say go for it Good Luck
- Yes you can apply for a job if YOU ARE (not YOUR) not in your last year of study.
- You can, but if you need the degree you're not done with to get the job, you're probably just wasting their time. If you really want that job, you could try emailing them to see if they'd consider offering it again/later, or better yet, getting your adviser to contact them for you. My PhD adviser offered to do that for me a few months ago.
