Is anyone looking for graduate jobs in Marketing or Advertising? Have you had any luck?

I am finding it very difficult! from the UK!

2. No luck here. The online job sites like Monster.com or CreativeHotList.com ,Gag.org, ProductionHub.com , CreativeHeads.org or indeed.com are a place to look. Not sure what part of Marketing you are looking in.. that is an extremely broad label.
3. erm im not looking for that but i know nationwide are currently recruiting in that field, positions are based in their Swindon HQ hope it helps
4. I was in the same boat as you not long back (2 yrs). I graduated, but also had experience in the field. As a result, I have ended up emigrating and taking my quals with me. I don't regret it one little bit, and I don't intend to ever return to the UK. At this moment in time, as I can see it, Marketing & Advertising are two very popular areas for Graduates in the UK. This means that vacancies are few; it's a "buyers" market, and employers can afford to pick and choose. This summer, many grads will be facing the dole queue for the first time, it is a shame. Unfortunately, due to the recession and lack of spending, companies have been looking at cutting back in a lot of areas. What's happening at the moment is a sign of things to come.
