University Graduates

How can I increase my chances of getting accepted to Columbia University Graduate School? ?

I want to get into this dual degree program at Columbia where you get your J.D. and Masters in Journalism. I attend a small private college right now and I am getting my Ba in Communications. How can I increase my chances of getting accepted to Columbia University Graduate School?

  1. G.P.A is a huge factor in the decision.
  2. Dual degree means you have to be accepted by the Journalism school and the Law School. Now, the journalism school is probably doable. Columbia Law School on the other hand, is top 5. With a BA in communications, you need a 4.0 basically to have any shot at Columbia Law School. This is something that I saw on a website showing how many Cornell graduates applied for Columbia Law and were accepted: COLUMBIA UNIV 203 Cornell students applied, 18 admitted, Mean LSAT 171.0, Mean GPA 3.80
