University Graduates

I am a graduate of Commerce and majored in management science, what positions should I look for?

The core units in my degree course were mailny operations research, statistics, heuristics and simulation and Information Technology (information Systems), and project management in addition to the genral courses offered in bachelor of commerce degrees.

  1. Something in economics or management. Or in commercial management. Or computer management. Or computer systems management. Or....
  2. head of the accounting department in a commercial company ,u can exercise both management and commercial accounting :)
  3. You have very strong technical skills. Use your numerical skills to your advantage. The following are options you may consider as a career: 1. Research analyst for equities 2. Corporate Finance in a conglomerate 3. Investment Banker 4. Operations analyst in a manufacturing firm 5. M&A analyst for a private equity firm The above options not only give you career development, growth, but it also gives you good compensation. Good luck!
  4. I suggest managing projects. You took very good courses and if you have done well in them then I'm quite sure you will be very successful in the near future. Start with being in a project team managing the numbers and processes. Once you have gained the right experience, you should be able to work upwards towards a project manager.
