How come all you see in websites for jobs is "sales, retail,work from home"??? It's funny that couple years ago used to find good jobs in Careerbuilder, Monster, Craigslist... but now all I see (and not just me, that's something me and my friends were talking about the other day)is sales, retail... the "work from home" thing, that tells you you'll be making some unreal amount of money in a month... ??? I also have a hard time finding "big companys"'s post online. You have to go to theyr website and get lucky to find job offers. I applied to Macy's hoping to work in cosmetics, but the email I got asking me to schedule for an interview says "Retail Sales Associate" instead of "Retail Cosmetics Sales-Beauty Advisor". does this mean that I'm scheduled for a position that isn't dealing with cosmetics? How to keep this job? Retail sales associate? Hey everyone, I've recently been hired at The Children's Place. This is a new store to our Mall and it has not yet opened. It opens Monday of next week and I am working from Thursday-Sunday this week in preparing the store for opening. I will be working among many other people because they have hired about 30 people and will later (after the weekend) reduce their staff to only 15 people.
