Management Trainee jobs at Aldi? I just applied there first thing this morning at one of their regional appliction things at one of their stores for the Management Trainee position. The starting pay looks great, has anyone worked there in this position before? How did you like it? It seems like they hire quite a bit, which is a reason for doubt. What kind of things do they look for in people they consider for this position?
Trainee Management jobs? I am from the UK and I want to work in Los Angeles as I have spent a lot of time there in the past. I am able to work there and have an agency who are able to be my legal sponsors, so my working visa and healthcare will be no issue when i have secured a job. I am looking for trainee work, based on previous experience I am able to work in theatre or media production, I was also advised to look at marketing traineeships. I am currently a teacher and I also work for a theatre company. As I want to move into a media field of work I was advised to look for trainee jobs, particularly management jobs in the area. I do not know how to find work, I am googling and looking on some job sites but wondered if there was something more specific i should be doing, such as writing to companies, and then which companies offer trainee programmes? (I am eligible to work anything up to 18months) Please help!

finding a trainee hotel management job/course abroad? ok so I am almost 23, I have a job but its not what I want to do forever, more a stopgap since uni until I find the job I want. In the long run I would either love to run a country park (having worked on and off at one for 2yrs) or have my own hotel. I have a degree in Business Management i.e MArketing, Human Resources, Strategy, Change and innovation etc. I have 3years+ in retail with a big focus on customer service 2years in events management at a country park so I am thinking that hotel management would be a good path for me, but a lot of jobs require previous experience or a hospitality question. So I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of hotel trainee management courses/positions abroad maybe in france or spain? preferably english speaking but I have a basic understanding of french Can anyone help/advise me? I'd prefer a character hotel or one near something cool like the sea/lakes/mountains. something. rather not a town hotel Thanks I currently work as an administrator but I dont get much out of it really

Enterprise Rent A Car management trainee program question? I am recently in the process of acquiring a job at Enterprise Rent A Car in southern California and would like to know how its like in the management trainee program. i have come across a lot of negative forums set up by former and current employees their that totally despise their work. they all seem to mention the same thing: working 55+ hour work weeks, thus your social and work life are not balanced well. the managers treat you like a slave and you pretty much are a glorified taxi driver because all you do all day is wash cars in your suite and drive people around. the pay is alright at $34,000 a year +, that's only because you work so many hours. So I am going to graduate in about a month soon from a UC and would like to know if i would be wasting my time in this company or would the experience in it will be able to set me up for higher paying jobs in the future.

will university grads be pretty clever who go for faststream jobs? My friend has gone for an interview for a job which is specifically aimed at graduates and was just wondering what are her chances. As she didnt go to uni like the rest but obtained a grade provided by work training. Its for senior trainee management faststream positions. 40 people are being interviewd and there are 17-20 jobs going. She had to do a number of tests before getting the interview which was scenario based. I am only asking as university people seem pretty hot at interviews so the competition will be high surely.
Management Trainee Program with $100 deposit? Has anyone responded to an add on Craigslist or Employment Guide for a Management Trainee Position? I read the ad and had a few doubts about the "company" from the beginning, since they didn't put their name or location in the ad, but we called anyway. A few hours later the lady called back and gave us a time and address for an interview and said the job requires a $100 deposit. What kind of scam do you think this is? Is it worth looking into? Did anyone go through with it?
So what now? I studied German Literature/minor in business. Now no jobs, graduated may 2009.? This girl I met at a coffee shop and asked her out of curiosity of what she studies, she said she is not studying but preparing for a class that she is teaching. I said you are teaching at a college and I thought I was being generous by saying college meaning a community college and not a kindergarten, junior high or high school but she says no she teaches at a university. She seems fairly young in her 20's and I said you must be really smart and posses a PHD, because thats what you need for teaching universities and she said she has a masters and she got lucky. So anyhow what is so different between me and her that I am going for the lowest paid jobs and even them turn me down. I did not get the management trainee job with Hertz rental car, they pay $10 an hour for their managers. She teaches economic at a University level, could be basic economics but still.

What should my boyfriend wear to his interview (see below)? My boyfriend is interviewing for a position as a management trainee in a heavy equipment dealership. It would be a management job (he has a degree) but he may have to climb in and out of equipment and show them what his skills are because he is also an operator. What should I do, have a job I love and prospects but no money or a boring job with a decent wage? A few months ago I was made redundant from a bar manager's job which I loved. Since then I've drifted back into Admin work which although I've done for quite some time, really bores me. Recently I started a new job with the NHS as a senior Administrator and a fairly decent wage but it's such a dull place to work and I'm not really enjoying it. Today however, I had a phone call from an area manage of a major pub company regarding an application for an assistant bar manager's job. Basically she told me I needed more training and has offered me a supervisor and management trainee job which will give me the chance to learn a lot about the industry and get my personal license but the wage is really cruddy until I pass my management exams and progress in the company. Knowing full well that this is a great opportunity to pursue the career I really want and will have some real prospects, do I suffer some really financial hardship for 6 months to a year or do I stick with the boring job?
Career as a management accountant...help please!? I am due to graduate from university this summer after spending 3 years studying maths with economics. I am interested in pursuing a career as a management accountant but wanted to know realistically what chance I have based on the fact that I am predicted a high 2:1 though only have 220 UCAS points over 3 a-levels (or 260 over 4 a-levels)? If I do have a chance, do I need any other form of qualification before I can start to apply for jobs as a trainee management account (after graduating) and begin studying for my CIMA qualification?
Why can't I start a career? I graduated college a year and a half ago with a degree in Business Administration. I've been on numerous interviews for mostly entry level management of manager trainee jobs. Each of these positions told me I did fine in the interview but they were looking for someone with more experience. Granted, I have no experience, but I was applying for entry level or trainee positions. What do they expect? What am I doing wrong? I live in Alabama and am willing to go anywhere to start a career. I just need one door to open. Input?
